Oops! Help Mommy!
PenPen and Sheldon each have their own crates for when parents aren't home. For some reason each likes the others' crate better. This particular time they both ended up on PenPen's crate and SOMEhow closed the door. Sheldon has done this to himself before, but I never see him do it. He was probably the culprit this time, too.

New Steps
The wee one, Mr. Sheldon, can't decide if the steps are a good idea or bad. However, the rug underneath gets his approval. He'd much rather lay on that rug and bark for me to put him on the couch than climb those steps. We'll get there, though. Penny hated steps at first, too, but she eventually learned to love them. This is our second set of steps. The first ones were plastic and were supposed to fold up, but they were broken and wouldn't fold. They stuck out into the living room too far, too, so we donated them to the Humane Society Thrift Store in Eustis. We bought the new ones HERE. They took forever to arrive, so if you order don't expect them to arrive in a couple days. More like over a week. Also, they're not assembled when you get them. These things look simple enough, right? Took me a little bit of time to get them together. Maybe that's just the person typing this blog post and not so much an actual problem, though. lol Anyway, here's Sheldon enjoying the rug...

Penny Puppy Video
Since Sheldon got his very own video I thought I'd share a video of Penny from when she was a puppy. This was either the first or second day we got her. The adorable pup playing with her is Molly, her sister. She wasn't ours. She went back home with my Mom to be given to my nieces. I wish we could have kept her, too.
Poor Sheldon
Poor little Sheldon was playing on the couch beside me earlier tonight. He started chewing a squeaky chicken toy he has that apparently freaked him out all of a sudden. So he jumped on me sort of sideways and then sideways again onto the floor. He didn't hit the ground hard. He tumbles quite a bit and jumps right back up, so no worries. He was fine and hopped right back up like, "Gimme that chicken!". But we (Sheldon's Daddy, actually) just happened to be videoing him at the time because he was being funny with the chicken by making funky noises when it squeaked at him. So here's the video of our little dare-devil...

Penny is 3 and a half years old now, but she was once a wee, tiny pup. She was smaller than a coke can when we got her. Check out the wee cuteness...

Sheldon's Ride Home
This is Sheldon on the way home the first day we got him. He climbed up and laid behind my hair before we were even out of the breeder's driveway. It was a long ride home from Lakeland, so later when he moved I wrapped him in a fleece blanket I made for him and he went right to sleep.
